At Tail Talk, we are qualified to deliver the Dog Trainer School Levels. These levels allow you and your dog to train and grow together, achieving advanced levels of skill you may never have thought possible.

Would you like to find out just what your dog’s potential really is? Starting from Level 1 and moving through to Level 5, you will begin by learning basic training tasks, such as a 20 second stay, recall to finish in front of you, and displaying door/gate/road manners. The tasks found in each level become more complex until you are successfully executing the more advanced activities found in Level 5, which include a 1 minute stay, 4 x item retrieval from different directions, and sending your dog around 4 objects. During the classes, you will also be given a variety of fun tricks to learn together, such as a spin, leg weaves and lots more.

Each level has 6 tasks that must be completed by the end of the course. As you progress through the levels you and your dog will both be challenged, all the while working together to achieve an even stronger bond. Throughout the levels we train hard, but with our usual sprinkling of fun and humour. We teach in a positive way using proven methods.

For every level you successfully complete, you will be presented with the Dog Trainers School embroidered badge, which you can display to show off your dog’s incredible achievement.

This is an outdoor class and so there will be plenty of space for each dog. Class numbers are small, to ensure the needs of all dogs are individually catered for. One-to-one time is provided during activities.

Places limited to 4 dogs maximum – booking is essential.
Dogs aged 18 months and over are welcome.
Four week practical course.
Price includes official Dog Trainer School Level embroidered badge.

All dogs need to be comfortable in a public outdoor environment and good around dogs and people.
